Grapeseed Oil as a Carrier Oil

You hear us talk about using Namaste Essential Oils with a carrier oil when you are using the oils in massage or topically!  The reason were recommend a carrier oil is due to the essential oils and blends being so highly concentrated. The only oils safe to use directly on the skin is Lavender, Tea Tree and Pachouli.  When applied to the skin the skin quickly absorbed the oils and the oils enter into the blood stream. muscles, and even sends messages to the brain to release certain chemicals into the body.

We are going to explore some facts about the different carrier oils and today we highlight Grapeseed Oil.

     Properties and Qualities of Grapeseed Oil

Anti-infammatory and antioxidant

Hypoallergenic (unless allergic to Grapes)

Antimicrobial

Vitamin E Rich making it an Anti-anging, healing skin wounds and mild burns and sun spots (helps to regenerate cells)

Acts as a mild astringent which help tighten skin all while healing and nurturing

High Content of Omega 6

Use as a carrier oil to reduces inflammation in the body associate with tired muscles, pain, and swelling.  It will also help to increase blood flow helping to heal the body!   Grapeseed oil is great to blend with oils such as Candy Cane Blend, Muscle Ease, Aches and Pains or any of our blends!   It’s also the carrier that Namaste Aromatherapy Sanctuary uses in all of our roll ons!
